Our most popular panel due to its robust nature and plain design. Made with square sawn overlapping horizontal spruce boards. These panels can be supplied with a trellis top.

Guaranteed for 5 years, our tanalised fence and trellis panels are made from heavier timber than most, giving them extra strength and durability in all weathers, especially in strong winds. Our panels are made from square sawn 6mm thick board and each is put together with nails, rather than staples; again helping to ensure longevity. Panels are available with a straight, curved or trellis top.

For a panel less than 4’ high, we recommend a post that is 3” x 3” or x 4” x 3”. A 5ft or 6ft high panel require a 4” x 4” post, especially if it is a windy site. The length of the post depends on how windy the site is and what type of ground the posts are going in; however as a general rule, each post should set into the ground by at least 2ft.

Made from locally sourced timber that has been cut in our mill, these panels are made from untreated planed larch boards, allowing the natural colour and grain of the timber to show through. Each panel is made with alternative sizes of board, and can be either horizontal or vertical.  It is finished off with plain capping. All our trellis is nailed together, rather than stapled, for extra longevity, and they are supplied with capping. Post caps are available. Trellis panels can be planed or custom made to any size. Trellis is available with a straight, concave or convex top and can be made with small or large squares or diamonds.  The standard trellis is made with 7.25" x 6" (18 cm x 15 cm) rectangles.
