Hanging a single Field, Entrance or Bent Heel Gate

Items Required

• 2 x gate posts
• 1 x adjustable kit
• 1 x latch (depending on how the gate is hung)
• 1 or 2 x surface bolts to secure into the ground

For our field and entrance gates, we suggest the following sizes of gate post depending on the size of
your gate:

• 3′ – 4′ wide gate requires a 8′ x 5″ x 5″ gate post
• 5′ – 6′ gate requires a 8′ x 6″ x 6″ gate post
• 7′ – 9′ gate requires a 8′ x 7″ x 7″ gate post
• 10′ – 12′ gate requires a 8′ x 8″ x 8″ gate post
• Any gate over 12’ requires a 9’ gate post

Hanging a pair of Field, Entrance or Bent Heel Gates

• 2 x gate posts
• 1 x adjustable kit
• 1 x drop over catch
• 1 or 2 x surface bolts to secure into the ground

For our field and entrance gates, we suggest the following sizes of gate post depending on the size of
your gate:

• 3′ – 4′ wide gate requires a 8′ x 5″ x 5″ gate post
• 5′ – 6′ gate requires a 8′ x 6″ x 6″ gate post
• 7′ – 9′ gate requires a 8′ x 7″ x 7″ gate post
• 10′ – 12′ gate requires a 8′ x 8″ x 8″ gate post
• Any gate over 12’ requires a 9’ gate post

Hanging a Pale Gate

Items Required

• 2 x gate posts
• 1 x pair of Tee hinges
• 1 x auto catch

For gates under 4′ high, we recommend gate posts that are 6′ x 4″ x 4″. Tee hinges should range in size from 10″ – 18″ depending on width of the gate.

Hanging Boarded Driveway Gates

• 2 x gate posts
• 2 or 3 x pairs of hooks and bands
• 1 x heavy duty ring latch
• 1 or 2 x surface bolts
